Labor Night at Camden Yards

Friday night was a big win for the O’s and also one of my favorite nights of the year.  Every year the men and women from organized labor come together for a night to celebrate the work that organized labor has done for the State of Maryland and the nation.  I was on hand to meet and thank many members from unions including AFL-CIO, CWA, AFSCME, IAFF (Firefighters), Steelworkers, Building Trades and many more.  Organized labor has been the backbone of the American workforce for decades.  Without organized labor there would be no minimum wage or workplace safety laws.  I want to thank Ernie Grecco from the AFL-CIO for the invitation to meet so many great brothers and sisters from labor unions all over the state.
